A Disappointing Experience

Our stay was marred by a room misrepresentation and unwelcoming front desk staff. We faced an unusual noise issue due to poor soundproofing, and accessibility was misleading regarding stairs.

The noise levels from adjacent rooms were unbearable!!! The absence of elevator forced a struggle up steep stairs with luggage!!! Bathroom plumbing issues like clogged drains were concerning!!! A serious cleaning overhaul is desperately needed!!!

The room was decent, but everything smelled like smoke badly.

The location near Gare de Lyon made it really easy to get around the city. It’s just a short walk to public transport and some interesting dining spots. My Standard Double Room was adequately sized, and I appreciated that my pets were welcome, which is a major plus. However, the bathroom raised some concerns. There was a strong mold smell, and the plumbing felt sketchy. I noticed a strange brown leak on the floor from the toilet bowl, which made using the bathroom pretty uncomfortable. The room had poor sound isolation, leading to a restless night with noise from adjacent rooms. Additionally, the decor was very dated, and the room felt damp, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. I would have liked better maintenance of the facilities, especially with the bathroom issues.

I loved my stay, especially enjoying the roomy layout and the peaceful vibe around the hotel. After a long day of exploring, I really appreciated having relaxing moments in the lounge and the small garden area. There were a few stairs to navigate, but it was manageable, so be prepared and soak in the charm! 😊

Had an awesome time with my friends. We explored the Eiffel Tower and spent a day at the Louvre. The staff was great, making our visit smooth, and the location was fantastic for getting around. I recommend checking out local cafes for breakfast. Just be ready for some stairs to reach rooms, but it's totally manageable!

I did notice some faulty electronics in the bathroom, which felt a bit unsafe. Would advise future guests to check this out right away.
